The Mac app generates the MCP config. Paste it into Claude Desktop or Cursor once.

Install and index

Download Find and Seek, open it from Applications (menu bar / ⌘⌥Space), point it at a folder, wait until indexing finishes.

Copy from Find and Seek

In the menu bar app, open MCP (or Agents / Connect). Choose Claude Desktop or Cursor, then click Copy.

Paste and ask

Claude: merge into ~/Library/Application Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json, quit and reopen. Cursor: Settings → MCP (or ~/.cursor/mcp.json), paste, reload. Then ask about your files.
